REAL TIME CAPABILITY

A key benefit of the Terravision Radar service is its ability to provide information in real time.

A Display Console Unit (DCU), known as the Console is attached to the receiver allowing the operator to monitor and adjust the data collection process.  It further allows for immediate response to changes in geophysical readings ie changes in structure and lithology. It furthermore allows rapid consultation with the project manager to determine next steps.

The measurement results are displayed on the radar console as a “radargram” in raw form. (Once downloaded the information is further refined to best highlight the required targets.) On the radargram at each measurement point the arrival time of signal is recorded from the geological boundaries.

The profile radargram is formed on the screen and shows the geological boundaries. Results of the survey, including the wave-forms for each point in the survey, are stored in the console memory.I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me.
